Lupine Farm

Lupine Farm is a place full of life and good times.  We offer riding lessons on our horses, a dog and bunnies to play with, apple trees to walk amongst, and we've even teamed up with an organic gardening class to provide food to local food pantries. Reconnect to the world around you - come ride and grow with us!

What Does Autumn Have in Store?

Camps have wrapped up and one final show remains for the 2010 season, but the riding is just getting good!  We will be enjoying lessons, leasing, trail rides, and just relishing quality time with our horses as they start to get fuzzy for winter.  Emily and Bill are getting married in the middle of September, so the lessons will be a little hit or miss this month, but we will be accepting new students again when October rolls around.  A few congratulations are in order for some of our Lupine Farm riders as well.

- Congratulations to Olivia and Bugsy ("Me Either") for qualifying for the Downeast Medal Finals!  They will be competing in Skowhegan on September 18th!

- Congratulations to the following riders on their September leases:
Cindy on her half lease of Ivy, Lauren G. on her partial lease of Jeeves, Linda on her partial lease of Ivy, Julie on her partial lease of Paloma, and Charlie on her partial lease of Daisy.  I'm sure they will all enjoy the special bonding that comes from spending some one on one time with these horses and the freedom to ride without a lesson every now and again!

- Good luck to Aaron as he takes on his first semester as a college freshman in Boston!

- We still have several sale and lease horses available and now is a great time to buy or lease.

Boarding Opportunities
Reasonable rates with very personal attention, relaxed atmosphere, and lovely facilities complete with brand new 100x200 outdoor arena. Possibility of some work in exchange for reduced rate.  We have a couple of pasture board spots available at present.  Contact Emily.
GARDEN FANS: The 2010 Food Pantry Garden is already producing big quantities of fresh veggies for the Vassalboro Food Station.  We are always looking for more volunteers and ways to improve our projects.  Contact Emily for information.

*If the going gets too rough for riding, lessons in ground work and general horse care will also be available.*
